We take pride in being responsive and agile in our training service offering. Our interventions lead to meaningful improvement for the individuals who attend, which in turn translates into meaningful improvement for the teams and departments they are part of.
Interventions are designed and facilitated by business consultants with deep experience across diverse industries and organisations. This lifts our training from one-dimensional information sharing to impactful interventions driven by insight generating discourse and experience sharing. Our model of business consultants as trainers and coaches enables us to create training and team interventions that are absolutely fit to your organisation's context, and our ability to tailor content to unique requirement supercharges the value derived from every session.
We are able to bolster each intervention with relevant psychometric assessment to benchmark current performance, and individual strengths and development areas. One-on-one coaching can further strengthen personal learning and leadership efficacy as support is consistently offered through the period of embedding learning and new behaviour.
ROI can be measured through personal portfolio of evidence creation, or tailored simulation exercises designed to evaluate understanding and retention of content. (These simulation exercises are created by using scenarios and content relevant and unique to your business context).
Modern managers are required to have a versatile and unusual combination of skills ranging from technical abilities to people skills, problem solving and effective communication.
This course equips managers with the required skills to operate in a responsive manner to change, uncertainty and unpredictability in the workplace, and implement processes and manage people in a manner that allows for continuous and incremental improvement.
When promoted to manager, there is a move away from getting results through personal effort, to getting results through others. This requires different and new skills along with mentoring and support.
This course covers the required mindset shifts and foundational skills essential to becoming effective managers, capable of bringing out the best in people.
Managerial ethics is a basic part of business ethics, and is a set of moral principles or beliefs that affect the behaviour and wellbeing of employees.
It commits those who have responsibility for part of the organisation to implement virtuous practices and approaches that empower and protect employees, which in turn maximises engagement, innovation and performance.
This course explores the responsibilities and obligations associated with effectively and ethically managing others.
EQ is one of the most powerful predictors for professional success, even more than intelligence and personality. People who have strong understanding of themselves and those around them and who are able to read, understand and manage thoughts, emotions and actions, thrive in and outside of the workplace.
This course addresses the core constructs associated with emotional intelligence, ranging from self mastery to understanding and reading others. It also addresses decision making and stress management. Each delegate will complete the EQ-i 2.0 as a benchmark of their current emotional intelligence to identify strengths and development areas.
Assertiveness and conflict management are core personal and interpersonal skills. Assertiveness is the ability to express feelings, wants, desires, views, beliefs and concerns in a respectful and effective manner while respecting the same rights for others. Conflict management is the ability to deal with heightened emotions and difficult conversations effectively to actively resolve workplace issues.
This course explores each delegate's own, personal approach to dealing with conflict and asserting themselves to build an understanding of their own preferred style. It then provides effective techniques for having important but difficult conversations successfully.
Psychological safety is being able to show yourself without fear of negative consequences to self-image, status, or career. It denotes the level of confidence employees have in their organisational climate, and affects several key relationships with work attitudes, determines individual and organisational performance, and brings more creativity, knowledge sharing and learning into the organisation.
This course focuses on the principles of psychological safety, and provides guidance for managers and supervisors on how to implement these principles to create a culture of psychological safety.
Interpersonal skills are important for communicating and working with groups and individuals. Strong interpersonal ability enables good relationships, effective cooperation and appropriate support where required. It is the foundation of giving and receiving feedback, resolving problems nad creating effective solutions.
This course explores various communication styles and methods, and when and where these are employed effectively. It benchmarks own interpersonal effectiveness and creates awareness of own impact on others and how to build effective skills for positive impact.
This masterclass enhances resilience and stress management skills through building a clear knowledge base of the biology of acute and chronic stress, and how to mitigate this impact on physical, mental and emotional wellbeing. The focus is on moving away from simply coping with stress and avoiding burnout into creating sustainable personal wellbeing - enabling people to thrive despite challenge and pressure.
This course enables exploration of each person's unique experience of, and response to, stress. Once able to identify the signs and symptoms of stress, the focus shifts to creating effective coping mechanism, eliminating and mitigating the impact of chronic stress, and creating a plan for sustainable personal wellbeing.
In many cases, discussions around equality, inclusion and diversity are peripheral, or created to be so 'safe' that it offers little to no value. This training offers a fresh approach to understanding and managing diversity and inclusion. The focus is on the individual and the intrapersonal: enhancing self-awareness to enhance inclusivity.
The course focuses on the psychology of self vs other, personal biases, and how exposure, experience and learning impacts openness to inclusivity or prejudice. It utilises concepts such as empathy and interpersonal sensitivity to enable learning about prejudice versus true inclusion, personal engagement and connection.
Positive team dynamics are critical for organisational success - without healthy, effective teams, no business can fully leverage the potential of employees and tap into their skills, experience and innovative drive. Team dynamics are the psychological forces influencing the direction of your team's performance and behaviour, both towards team members and those outside the team.
Our team dynamics intervention is a metrics-driven team session aimed at categorising the various elements impacting the team's dynamics and resulting performance. Metrics are obtained real-time within the session through enabling participation from all team members and then articulated into clear categories of team performance. The team is subsequently guided through a process where they identify and solve obstacles to high performance themselves. The process is inclusive, safe, action-oriented and driven to achieve durable behavioural and dynamics change through co-creation.
